“The Devil’s Pamplemousse”

A Comedy Serial Play that I Produced in collaboration creatives Dan McHugh and  AJ Tennant.

The show was originally started as a 10 minute satirical segment which poked fun at Current Affairs News on 2SERs “Friday Daily Show” from September 2009 – January 2010. As we continued the series and our characters evolved we embarked on changing the format to a Serial Play which ran weekly from February 2010 – May 2010.

The Devil’s Pamplemousse

Follow the Professor; PJ the Personal Trainer; and a man with a serious case of amnesia called Five, on their adventures into the realm of the unknown and the absurd.

In June 2010 the series was syndicated for National Broadcast via satellite service in February 2011 by the Community Broadcasting Association of Australian. To read more about the series click here.

The Serial Play was influenced by comedy groups such as: Monty Python, The Goodies, and The Mighty Boosh amongst others as well as TV shows from our collective youth.
